MORE SEX PREDATORS IN CONGRESS??

I haven't posted here because of a few reasons. Death threats, assholes, and people with nothing better to do than try to trap me into revealing myself.

But, I can't resist posting this information. It is unconfirmed and shouldn't be taken necessarily as fact......

BUT, I have gotten emails that say that there is evidence out there of TWO OTHER SEX SCANDALS IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!!!!

Supposedly, Congressman Jerry Weller of Illinois has had a sexual relationship with a 16 year old female page. So, far, it hasn't been confirmed, so please email stopsexpredators@gmail.com if you have any information.

Also, supposedly, Congressman Phil English has reportedly has inappropriate relationship with one or more male pages. There is scant information on this, so also email me if you have any information that could be confirmed.

Any information I get will be passed to some of the reporters who have been in contact with stopsexpredators@gmail.com so that they can look into it and then law enforcement can become involved when necessary.

I CAN'T RESIST

There are a few points I want to address. I keep seeing things in the press and on the blogs (which I never read until all of this started going on).

First, I can't believe that Speaker Dennis Hastert is blaming this blog on people like George Soros and Bill Clinton. That's just an attempt at escaping responsibility. What does it matter who actually posted those first emails? Which leads me to my next point.....

How the heck can the FBI investigate this? Media reports say that they had the emails that I posted over a year ago. How are they investigating the House leadership for not handling it when they got the emails and they didn't look into it either?

Although I totally blasted the media earlier for being lame for a whole year on this matter, I think they may be our best hope for the entire truth coming out in this matter. So, I hope they will ask questions about not only when Republican Leadership knew about it, what they did, how they were connected, what favors took place, etc; BUT, I hope they will also ask questions about who in the FBI let this go without investigating.

The TRUE HERO here is the page who reported the emails in the first place. Can you imagine how he has felt over the past year? For an ENTIRE year, NOTHING was done to show this kid that he was justified in reporting this sexual predator to the authorities. I've seen a lot of press and read a lot of blogs in the past week, but NOBODY has given this kid credit for the incredible courage that he showed not only a year ago, but for the entire past year while he MUST have questioned if he did the right thing. Well, he did. Kudos to him.

Just having gone through the hundreds of emails I have recently received, I found a couple of points that I feel warrant being posted. They come from two separate emails, so I will copy the body of both below, but also withholding their names/email addresses. I generally agree with the points that they make and thank them for sending them along.

FIRST EMAIL:

First, I'd like to CONGRATULATE you on your efforts to stop sexual predators! Anyone who has been a victim of incest can identify with how it feels to be sexually hounded by someone and the requistie lifelong effects that has. You are providing a much-needed outlet for these young people who have been preyed upon; often times they are confused by the action(s) and feel they are the only ones who have experienced it.

Second, I just have a few suggestions in light of the Congressman Foley scandal. Since many interested people will be checking out your blog for information, I suggest you make clear what defines a sexual predator. Combined with the political spin about the Foley scandal, and people's general confusion about this issue, the facts are getting marred. For example, often times the fact that these pages were minors -- under the age of 18 yrs. -- is seeming to escape peoples' thoughts. And, more importantly, people are forgetting that sexual predatory behavior of a minor is a CRIME! It is not "flirting," just sending "naughty emails," or happening because one is homosexual.

The point I'm making is, like incest or sexual assault, sexual predators come in all forms -- and from all classes. I see nearly every night on my local news, stories about sexual predators, and more often they not, they are not the ones in business suits; rather, they are portrayed as some working class thug. So I'm proposing that those who post on your blog, provide their ages during the time they were preyed upon, and where it occurred (meaning the context, like "at work"), and how it made them feel.

I feel your blog is going to be a very useful tool ingetting sex predators. Good Luck with your efforts!

SECOND EMAIL:

I just came across your blog and wanted to say a few things.

First, your statement to the press is perfect!

Second, I'm sorry to hear that threatening comments had been posted, and that you've been receiving threatening emails. I have a hard time understanding why anyone should find fault with you, but then I have a hard time understanding much of what passes for logic among some people.

You do say to email you if there is something one feels needs to be posted. I have no information on this, but there is a point (two actually) that I think needs to be made. Since you have the ear of many people and a wonderful way with words, may I ask you to consider making one or both?

There is now discussion on eliminating the page program, and I don't understand why I've yet to hear anyone make the connection: If young people 16 years old up to college age aren't safe on Capitol Hill, it's probably not the pages who need to be removed. What does it say about our elected officials that we can't trust them around these kids? What does it say about us that we still trust them to run the country? What does it say about all of us, that we're considering doing away with a tradition as old as the country is, that provides a such a wonderful opportunity, with so little outcry? After all, it isn't that there's illness spreading, or natural dangers (prone to dangerous weather or earthquakes), or the high crime rate has been a problem for the kids. The threat is our own elected representatives!

The second point is emotionally charged, and if you're already getting threatening emails, you probably should stay away from this one. I would like to know though why Foley's homosexuality is such an issue. What if he had gone after female pages instead of male pages? Would that be all right? Maybe that is going on and no one is saying anything about it? As a fully heterosexual woman, it makes no difference to me if an unwanted sexual advance is made by a man or another woman. The minute I make it clear that it's unwanted, I expect it to stop. NO full adult should be preying on our kids, certainly no one in positions of power and authority. It doesn't matter what the gender of either one is! I'm concerned that Foley's sexual orientation is overshadowing the real issue here - he had no business treating ANY page as he did.

There is one way in which his sexual orientation is relevant. I find itamazing how many Republicans are gay, given the party platform on homosexuality. Can we say hypocrisy? But that's another matter entirely.

Hello Folks. Maybe I'm not so happy that so many people are coming to this blog site.

I'm not interested in media interviews. Thank you for your interest, but if you were doing your job to begin with, Mark Foley would have been exposed a long time ago. Instead of wanting to do a story about this blog, how about covering the fact that the media sat on this story for over a year. You're as bad as the Congressional Leadership that covered for Foley.

In case you didn't notice, all of the comments on the blog are gone? Wonder why? Because there are so many awful people out there. I started getting threats, so I decided that if somebody was going to threaten me, they were going to have to email me directly. So, they have continued to do so. There is no logical reason for someone to be so angry. I understand that the ramifications of these emails is far and wide. Much farther than I could ever have imagined. Regardless, think about how awareness has been raised.

AND.....here are the answers to some questions that have been posed. I am not Karl Rove, Mark Foley, or John Boehner. I am not employed in Democratic politics. I am not 'funded' by George Soros. I'm nobody that anybody should care about. So, please, go about your day as if I don't exist. If you have something that needs to be posted on this site, please let me know.

I understand the media coverage is continuing to dominate Congressman Foley. Law enforcement is now involved and will sort out the truth. I'm not quite sure what to say. I started this blog a couple of months ago with the aim of stopping sex predators. It looks like we stopped ONE. A corrupt Congressman has resigned and dropped out of his race for re-election. THIS IS A GOOD START. And it's a good and visible start.

But let's not lose aim of what this site is about. This is a high moment in the beginning of our little web community. I've been very pleased at the amazing response we've had.

Please continue to visit the sight on a regular basis and report any information you know or have heard that we can look into.

We have gotten inquiries from almost every major news outlet in the country. Perhaps if we get good information on here again, I can go back to some of those reporters and they can help expose these predators. It might not be as big of a news story as the past few days, but maybe we can keep stopping them!!!!! That's what we're here for!! Thank you everyone for helping to stop our FIRST sex predator!

I saw your article’s about Congressional sex scandals with interns. Let me share what happened to me.I was near the end of my internship for Congressman Foley’s office he asked me for my email. I was not sure why he wanted but I gave it to him anyway. A few days later I got an email from him in the middle of the night asking me for pictures. I sent him a few pictures of me and other interns at work. A few days later he emailed me asking for more pictures of me but not from work. He was looking for personal pictures of me. I ignored the email he started emailing me telling me that he was going to be visiting my area. H e said he wanted to get together with me. he wanted me to come up to his hotel romm. I think that he was looking to have sex with me. After\n that email I block him from my email address

After reading your post on skinterns I wanted to fill you in on what really goes on in the halls of Congress.
I used to be a House LA on the Hill working.
When I was working up there, folks use to refer to the Terrible Three – Barney Frank, Mark Foley, and Jim Kolbe.
Everyone knows about Barney Frank’s exploits…living with a man who ran a gay prostitute ring out of Frank’s house…and how he how used to hit on men much younger than him.
And Jim Kolbe…everyone who works on the Hill has heard rumors about Kolbe. One of my friends even told me that Kolbe hit on him on several occasions.
Despite all the stories, Frank and Kolbe are well respected because when they got caught, they admitted that they were gay.
That and neither Frank nor Kolbe have anything on Foley.
People were always talking about seeing Foley lurking in locker rooms around DC looking for sex, how he especially likes teenage boys, and frequents gay bars around D.C. and in his district.

GARY CONDIT/CHANDRA LEVY

This is from Wikipedia. It shows yet another incident of Members of Congress abusing their position the acting in a predatory nature to establish inappropriate relationships. We don't know that the alleged relationship was in any way related to Levy's death, but either way, Condit should have known better than to prey on this young intern.

In May 2001, Condit became the subject of national news coverage, after the disappearance of Chandra Levy, a Washington, D.C. intern originally from Condit's district. Levy is believed to have been Condit's mistress.

While Condit was never an official suspect in the disappearance, Levy's family (and subsequently the national media) suspected that Condit was withholding important information about the intern's disappearance. Suspicion was deepened when Condit tried to avoid answering direct questions during a televised interview with news anchor Connie Chung on August 23, 2001. This followed news reports that Condit had an affair with flight attendant, Anne Marie Smith [1].

He faded from the news following 9/11, only to reappear during his announcement to run for an 8th term on December 7.

Condit lost the primary elections in March 2002 to his former aide, then-Assemblyman Dennis Cardoza, and left Congress at the end of his term in 2003.

After an extensive search, Levy's remains were discovered a year after her disappearance by a jogger in Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C. In May 2002 a medical examiner officially declared that Levy's death was the result of homicide. The case remains unsolved.

HOLY MOTHER OF JESUS!!! On a whim, I googled "Congressional sex scandals." WHOA!!! You hear stories about 'things' that happen along the gilded halls of power in Washington. But I was shocked to see how much of it goes on the record! From a Washington Post article, here are five...yes, FIVE members of Congress who had incredibly inapproriate relationships with minors. What's worse is that some continued to serve in Congress and one of them is still in office!!!! How much more of this is going on??

IF WE CAN STOP THIS PREDATORY BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF OUR NATION, WE CAN SEND A MESSAGE TO ALL OF THE SEX PREDATORS THAT WE WON'T STAND FOR IT.

Rep. Fred Richmond (D-N.Y.)
In April 1978, Richmond was arrested in Washington for soliciting sex from a 16-year-old boy. Richmond apologized for his actions, conceding he "made bad judgments involving my private life." In spite of a Democratic primary opponent's attempts to cash in on the headlines, Richmond easily won renomination and reelection. But his career came to an end four years later when, after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana and tax evasion – and amid allegations that he had his staff procure cocaine for him – he resigned his seat.

Rep. Robert Bauman (R-Md.)
On Oct. 3, 1980, Bauman, a leading "pro-family" conservative, pleaded innocent to a charge that he committed oral sodomy on a teenage boy in Washington. Married and the father of four, Bauman conceded that he had been an alcoholic but had been seeking treatment. The news came as a shock to voters of the rural, conservative district, and he lost to a Democrat in November.

Reps. Dan Crane (R-Ill.) and Gerry Studds (D-Mass.)
The House ethics committee on July 14, 1983, announced that Crane and Studds had sexual relationships with teenage congressional pages – Crane with a 17-year-old female in 1980, Studds with a 17-year-old male in 1973. Both admitted the charges that same day, and Studds acknowledged he was gay. The committee voted to reprimand the two, but a back-bench Georgia Republican named Newt Gingrich argued that they should be expelled. The full House voted on July 20 instead to censure the two, the first time that ever happened for sexual misconduct. Crane, married and the father of six, was tearful in his apology to the House, while Studds refused to apologize. Crane's conservative district voted him out in 1984, while the voters in Studds's more liberal district were more forgiving. Studds won reelection in 1984 with 56 percent of the vote, and continued to win until he retired in 1996.

Rep. Mel Reynolds (D-Ill.)
Freshman Reynolds was indicted on Aug. 19, 1994, on charges of having sex with a 16-year-old campaign worker and then pressuring her to lie about it. Reynolds, who is black, denied the charges and said the investigation was racially motivated. The GOP belatedly put up a write-in candidate for November, but Reynolds dispatched him in the overwhelmingly Democratic district with little effort. Reynolds was convicted on Aug. 22, 1995 of 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography, was sentenced to five years in prison, and resigned his seat on October 1.

NEW PREDATOR EXPOSED

Here is a clip from a cnn.com news article about the suspect in the Jon Benet Ramsey case. While there seems to be some controversy over whether or not he killed her, it seems clear that he was predatory in his sexual abuse of her. We MUST do a better job stopping these people before they cause permanent damage or death of our children. So, please encourage your children to speak up and report these people. Surely, we are smarter than these common predatory sicko criminals!!!

Questions swirl around Karr's admissions

'I loved her,' suspect says, calling JonBenet's death an accident

BOULDER, Colorado (CNN) -- Far from laying to rest the 10-year mystery of who killed JonBenet Ramsey, the stunning admission Thursday by John Mark Karr in Bangkok, Thailand, only deepened speculation about whether the soft-spoken schoolteacher committed the crime.
Citing ethical rules and the ongoing investigation, Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy declined to discuss what evidence, other than Karr's post-arrest admissions, linked him to the 6-year-old beauty queen or the Ramsey family.

"John Karr is presumed innocent," she said, adding that investigators had "much more work" to do and urging people not to rush to judgment. (Watch authorities caution the public against convicting Karr -- 4:30)

Lacy also seemed to suggest the investigation is continuing.

"There are circumstances that exist in any case that mandate an arrest before an investigation is complete," Lacy said, citing public safety and the possibility of flight as two such reasons.
She insisted that her comments were generic, however, and that she was not commenting directly about the Karr investigation.

The 41-year-old American was being held at a Bangkok immigration detention center. He faces charges in the United States of first-degree murder, kidnapping and sexual assault on a child, said Ann Hurst, a Department of Homeland Security attache in Bangkok.

In comments before reporters in Bangkok on Thursday, Karr admitted to being involved in Ramsey's death.

"I loved JonBenet, and she died accidentally," he said. Asked if he was an innocent man, Karr replied, "No." (Watch Karr's admission -- 1:15)

Karr also had told an American investigator he had drugged Ramsey and sexually assaulted her before accidentally killing her, said a Thai police official, Gen. Suwat Thamrongsrisakul.

Mary Kay Letourneau

America’s most famous female child molester, Mary Kay Letourneau, is currently serving a seven-and-a-half year sentence in a Washington state prison for her sexual involvement with a 13-year-old boy(3). The relationship began when the victim was a student in her sixth-grade class. Letourneau has given birth to two daughters fathered by the youth. One was born in prison.

She was anyone’s little girl. She could have been yours, or mine. She had long, dark hair, which cascaded down the sides of her head and her friendly face would one day become a familiar sight to millions of Americans. Her name was Polly Klaas, a quiet, unassuming 12-year old who lived a comfortable life in Petaluma, California. Like everyone, Polly had her own dreams and plans for the future. On a peaceful night, on October 1, 1993, she was in her own bedroom. She invited two friends over for their very first slumber party and all three girls were immersed in the joy and freedom of being away from their parents for a few hours. Until that awful moment when evil made its way into Polly’s life. At about 10 that evening, an intruder, high on booze and armed with a knife, crawled through an open bedroom window and within minutes, two of the girls were tied up and left writhing in terror on the bedroom floor. Polly was abducted and carried off into the night, the victim of a cowardly killer whose own life was a twisted maze of hate and violence. The body of little Polly Klass was found two months later on December 4, 1993. Her confessed killer, Richard Allen Davis, provided information that eventually led police to her body. She had been brutally raped and strangled.

Those victims also note that the child-abuse problem in Massachusetts churches did not begin with Father Geoghan or Christopher Reardon in the 1980s. In fact, the archdiocese established its longstanding pattern of denial and concealment twenty years earlier, with the case of Father James Porter. A serial predator who molested at least 125 children of both sexes, claiming victims in five states, Porter was recognized as “a problem” by his superiors in the early 1960s. Multiple complaints, a criminal arrest, and several confessions from Porter himself failed to prompt any meaningful action. Instead of dismissal and prison, Porter was treated to multiple transfers, vacations, and ineffective “spiritual counseling.” The end result: a tragedy that shocked the nation when it was revealed, more than three decades after Porter abused his first victim.

Westley Allan Dodd

Westley Allan Dodd is perhaps one of the most calculating predators to prowl the playgrounds. Small in stature, and sometimes assuming a baby-voice himself, he did not fit the profile of the dangerous trench-coated “stranger” that children are taught to avoid. (Organizations like the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are working hard to dispel myths of child-molesters as repugnant trolls luring kids with candy -- they are usually someone kids trust.) Like many child molesters, Dodd knew how to gain access to his victims -- he befriended children with gifts and games, and knew how to coax them into dangerous situations without using force. He was described as being good with kids. Few knew that he was also deadly with them.

Joey Buttafuoco

Joseph "Joey" Buttafuoco made headlines in 1992 for his affair with Amy Fisher, who subsequently shot Joey's wife, Mary Jo Buttafuoco, in the face. Mary Jo was not killed.
Buttafuoco was a Massapequa, New York, auto body shop owner in 1992 when Fisher shot his wife, who survived the shooting. Amy Fisher, at the age of 17, served seven years in prison for the shooting. Buttafuoco pleaded guilty to one count of statutory rape, for his affair with Amy Fisher, and served four months in jail. He and his wife later moved to California and divorced in 2003.

John Evander Couey

Couey is presently on trial in Citrus County, Florida, and faces the death penalty. On March 18, 2005, John Evander Couey confessed to having kidnapped and murdered Jessica Lunsford. According to police reports, Lunsford was abducted after attending a local church service.
John Couey stated he went to Jessica's house at about 3am, entered through an unlocked wooden door, awoke her, told her (Exact Quote) "Don't yell or nothing" and had Jessica follow him, she did of her own free will.

Couey occupied the trailer along with two other women. Couey admitted in his video taped and recorded deposition to having sexual intercourse with Jessica in his bedroom. They then both slept nude together the first night at which time he then again assaulted her in the morning, leaving her in the closet with the instructions not to leave. She stayed in the closet the entire day as John Couey reported for work at "Billy's truck lot", never attempting to escape.

John Couey related that Jessica did not appear a virgin the first time they had sexual intercourse, stating she did not cry or yell out, and in fact smiled and said it felt like she was having her period. The coroner's report stated that Jessica's vagina showed prior healed notches, clefts and scars in her hymenal remains in a 6, and 12 oclock position that were present before John Couey's rape, though he stated in his court deposition that it could be of natural occurrence as well as molestation.

On March 19, 2005 at exactly 12:13am, police found Jessica's body at a residence located on West Sparrow Court, buried in a hole approximatley 2 1/2' deep and 2' circular, covered with leaves. The body was removed from the ground at exactly 3:37am and transported to the coroner's office.

Her body had undergone "moderate" to "severe" decomposition and according to the publicly released autopsy reports was skeletonized on 2 fingers that Jessica had poked through the bags before suffocating to death. The coroner ruled that death would have happened even in best circumstances within 2-3 minutes from lack of oxygen.
